My song played at Obama's Inaugural Ball in D.C.

This is truly unbelievable. At the Aloha Inaugural Ball for President Barack Obama on January 18, 2009 which was held at the Marriot Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C., the band played my composition "E Wai'anae" and a hula was presented. Now how cool is that. You can see this video on YouTube.

What a Spooky Thought

I was just reading an article from USA Today that talks about Google Earth and its effect on National Security. Because of all the commercial satellites in space, pictures of every conceivable area on earth can be obtained. This means that security facilities have to be hidden from sight or face global exposure from friendly, as well as non-friendly eyes. Something to think about. Big Brother is here.

HARA General Meeting

Just a reminder to all Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts members that the General Membership meeting is tomorrow, November 11th at Willows Restaurant. Lunch is at 11AM for $26, then the meeting will commence at 12PM. Hope to see all of you there.

Cell Phone Comparisons

Here is an interesting article that talks about the durability of iPhones, as compared to Blackberry and Treo phones. Seems like Apple created another winner product all the way around.
