At the Aloha Inaugural Ball for President Barack Obama on January 18, 2009 which was held at the Marriot Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C., the band played my composition "E Wai'anae" and a hula was presented. Now how cool is that.

Because of all the commercial satellites in space, pictures of every conceivable area on earth can be obtained. This means that security facilities have to be hidden from sight or face global exposure from friendly, as well as non-friendly eyes.

Something to think about. Big Brother is here.
HARA General Meeting

Just a reminder to all Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts members that the General Membership meeting is tomorrow, November 11th at Willows Restaurant. I am so relieved. It was a long week of work to get them just right. My producer Shawn Moseley and I pounded out the studio hours and we are so stoked about this CD. Our concept is to created hit singles and thread them together into one CD, then you give each song its own worth. In this sixteen song CD, I canʻt imagine having less than eight legitimate hits, but that is for the listener to decide. Checkout some of my songs draft on mymyspace site.
Massive tv monitor

A new 125 inch curved plazma television has been developed by Shinoda. It weighs in at a remarkable eight pounds. They donʻt foresee a release date earlier than April or May 2009. Now that is worth waiting for. Imagine using that monitor for your computer. Woah!
Different Perspective on the Digital Download craze

After reading this blog by David Harrell, I walked away feeling so much better about the state of music from a old school perspective. When I used to buy vinyl, I remembered every nuance of each songs and could recite the band, the album title, each song, etc. There is such an overload of music in my life that I have no time to digest each offering and savor its individuality.

I donʻt think there is anything wrong with what is going on today, but I donʻt seem to have enough time in my life to sample everything anymore.
DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act)

Here is an article from blog.wired.com that talks about a bill that was signed into law ten years ago by Bill Clinton that has spawned the Web 2.0 explosion in the interactive websites.
Itʻs so hard to know what is going to happen in the future, but easy to see the outcome of what has been setup in the past.
This analogy should be likened to many other social and environmental plights, in hopes that mankind will continue to strive for ethical and moral correctness for the sake of future generations.
Podcamp Hawaii

I am spending the final day at the Hawaii Convention Center attending the Podcamp.
